Board of Directors

The Board of Directors govern the RMHPBA in partnership with staff and HPBA. They are elected to a two-year term by members of the association.

Meet the Board

Barbara Brennan, Vice President

Barbara and her husband ran a hearth-only dealership, Harmony Hearth & Home, for over 15 years. She and her husband sold the business in March of 2025. Wanting to build on the experience she has had, she started a small business called 2B Better, which allows her to assist small businesses with projects to improve their business. Barbara has appreciated several years spent on the board. She has a great passion and drive to keep the hearth industry going strong, doing her part in helping the industry to be better.

Marc Hardesty, Past President

I’ve been on the RMHPBA Board for 10+ years and am the current, Past President. I have been in the hearth industry for 20 years and have worked retail, distribution and for the last six years as an independent rep with Level42 Ventures. This history gives me the experience to see the hearth industry from a variety of perspectives. My territory encompasses all five states that make up the RMHPBA, so I get the chance to see most of our members a few times a year and advocate for the RMHPBA to those that aren’t currently active members.

I originally joined the RMHPBA board to be more active and tied into the hearth industry both locally (RMHPBA) and nationally (HPBA). One of my favorite times of the year is the HPBA EXPO where all facets of the hearth industry gather under one roof. I also have come to realize the importance of advocating for our industry and positive policy change both locally and nationally in Washington DC with GALA (Government Affairs Leadership Academy) and would encourage anyone interested in being a positive force for our industry, our livelihood, to become involved as we are always looking for fresh faces and new ideas.

Leonard "Leo" Kosirog, President

Leonard “Leo” Kosirog is President of the Rocky Mountain Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association (RMHPBA) and serves on the national board of HPBA. He owns and operates Porter’s Mountain View Supply, a family business founded in 1978 with locations in Riverton and Casper, Wyoming, specializing in hot tubs, grills, and hearth products. A graduate of the University of Wyoming, Leo is a former participant in HPBA’s GALA leadership program and is passionate about advocacy, education, and strengthening the voice of specialty retailers across the region.

Leo and his wife Danielle, a teacher at Aspen Elementary, are proud to call Riverton home. In addition to his work with RMHPBA, Leo serves as Treasurer of the Riverton Chamber of Commerce Board and sits on the Riverton Planning Commission, where he continues to contribute to local growth and community development.

Buck Marsters
I want to learn more about how the RMHPBA works and to be of service. I have been in the industry for 20 years. I still love it and would like to see it grow.

Brian Peterson

Branndon Knox

Branndon joined the Rocky Mountain Hearth, Patio & BBQ Association in 2015 and has attended the HPBA’s Government Affairs Academy. His career in the hearth industry began in 2005, working with various retailers before joining Fireplace Products Inc. (Regency Fireplaces) as a manufacturer’s representative for Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Nebraska and South Dakota. He currently owns and operates FireWerks, an eCommerce fireplace and BBQ store. Originally from Arvada Colorado, he currently resides in Rapid City, South Dakota since 2019.

Nick Uhles

Having been in the industry since 2016, I serve on the board to act in the best interest of not only our business, our customers’ businesses, but the industry as a whole. I think it’s important to be involved in advocacy for policies and regulations that directly affect our hearth and outdoor products industry. I enjoy providing ideas and being directly involved in how we can increase our membership and overall awareness throughout the Rocky Mountain region.

Jeff Harper

Jeff Harper is the President and co-owner of Hot Stuff Hearth & Home, where he has proudly led the company for the past nine years. His leadership is grounded in honesty, accountability, and genuine care for his team and customers. Originally from Texas, Jeff brings a blend of Southern roots and Rocky Mountain spirit to everything he does. Outside of work, he loves riding dirt bikes and exploring the rugged beauty of the Rocky Mountains.
